There are many POI sites that can provide gps satellite navigation POIs for a price.

We don't just want to concentrate on major beauty spots, museums etc.

How about the location of a good DIY store, the local town hall, car rental firm, winery, pub or bar.

This website is to be used for Worldwide Points of Interest.

Points of Interest are useful for local residents undertaking a short trip, or expats abroad.

Most good satellite navigation systems are able to provide latitude & longitude information when you arrive at a useful location (for TomTom just click the Help icon). So please let others know of such llocations by registering, and entering the co-ordinates and a brief description.

Additionally you can set the sat nav destination to latitude/longitude co-ordinates. So visitors to GPS - Points of Interest may view and make use of this information. You do not have to register to search the site for POI's.
